As far as their mother, in the early episodes I am pretty sure they talk about her being dead and even go so far as to say that Link had to raise Michael - at least from like teen years on. Also i think that is 1 of the reasons why Michael is able to connect with Tancredi because her mother is also dead. So if they switch it up in the end and say she is not dead, well they must think people forgot about the dead mother. They brought their dead dad back so anything is possible.
So many dead ppl. They never should have killed Abruzzi. lol.
